Catégorie: Fuselage : Cabin

Today was plumbing day. I first fabricated the fuel tank vent tubing. Both takns are vented to avoid fuel starvation. The air comes from under the fuselage via a very small scoop, goes through the cabin and exits on the sideskin going to the fuel tank. On the picture, the two blue fittings shows both ends of the tubing, and the black clamps show the routing.

Here the left side is finishe, the routing is really tortuous.

The fittings going through the floor have to be modified to act as small scoops. The one on the left has been modified, I still have to install a small grid to avoid ingesting debris.

Here the fitting is installed, I also grinded the threads that have no more purpose on this side.

They I begun bending the cabin part of the brake lines. They are running from the parking brake valve to the main gear weldments. Here is a picture of both lines, looking backwards. They are running under the fuel valve, so I had to make sure there won't be any interference with the fuel lines. I still have all the flares to do.
