This morning, the stiffeners are back riveted to the skins. Then I built the folding brake as to fold the trailing edges, I tested it with the trim tab. Next, the right elevator was assembled and drilled. To end the day I folded the trim tab, but it seems one of the bending lines is not correctly set, I'll see with Van's. Stiffeners have been match drilled to the skin, all the holes got deburred and dimpled. Only some sanding to do before priming. At the end, beginning of the preparation of the trim tab reinforcing plate. Just for fun we counted the number of holes that fix the stiffeners to the skin. There are 280, that means 560 holes in total (stiffeners + skin) that have to be drilled, deburred on both sides and then dimpled Working time on this subpart Today : 3h (Total : 7h) |
