I needed almost two hours to set a dozen of rivets. It was almost impossible to use the squeezer or the gun. I had to drill a few rivets and used a few pop rivets.

The panel structure installation is not going as smoothly as expected. I had to remove the center sectio and some rivets to gain a good access to the rib to firewall rivets.

I then reinstall the two side panels. Here are a few more difficult rivets. I had to alternate the shop heads to be able to buck them.

I the squeeze the two rivets from the center rib to the firewall, but for an unknown reason I had great problems with the lower rivet. A few drill-outs resulted in an enlarged hole and I replaced the rivet with a #8 screw. This is not to be done too often as it would add some weight to tha plane and the cost.

Before reinstalling the subpanel and the ribs, I bolt on the park brake valve. The picture shows the end result with the clamp for the control cable.

I then rivte the parts where it's possible before reinstalling the subassembly into the fuselage.

Rveting will ne interesting as access is limited. I begin by riveting th ribs to te firewall. thright side looks OK but I have a problem with the left side. I will change this next time.

While wainting for the paint to dry, I begun installing the terminal strips that will get all the wires coming from the sticks. First there is a grommet to install on the rib. The strip was supposed to be bolted to the rib, but the eyelets broke of. I will glue the strip to the lower skin with proseal.
I did the same on the other side.

I also fabricated a small bracket with two nutplates to be used to bolt the park valve to the firewall. This is because once the forward skin is on it will be impossible to access both sides of the firewall simultaneously solo.

Once the primer had cured, I riveted the prak brake bracket to the firewall. This is esier done before the engine and rudder pedals are installed as access is muche easier.
