After some sanding, I lay one layer of fiberglass on the junction between the lower intersection fairing and the wheel fairing.

Still doing the finishing on the wheel fairings. First some filling on the parts bonded yesterday, this will allow to apply some fiberglass plies without leaving any void between the parts.

Then I apply a few layers of fiberglass where the brackets will be in contact with the fairing. The picture shows the filling done yesterday in white, with some fiberglass layers on top.

As the lower cowl is in position, I took the opportunity to install the upper nower gear fairing. There were afew cuts to makes, and some fiberglass work is needed to get a better fit.

I also epoxied the lower main gear intersection fairings on the wheel fairings.
I the fairing, one of the support brackets is visible as some thickness haas to be built up due to the camber in the fairing where the bracket is supposed to be riveted.
The fairing will later be strengthened by a few plies of fiberglass.

Before putting the fairings back into storage for the time being (it's too cold to work with epoxy), I finish the tyre opening on the right fairing and install another nutplate which would have been difficult to do before the lower intersctions fairings were positionned.

The small upper tabs on the gear leg fairings look a bit too flimsy for my liking. Vans suggests to epoxy a few layers of fiberglass, but I decided to sandwich a small aluminium tab that will help spread the load.

In fact I first begin adjusting the left gear lower intersection fairing. After some cutting and sanding it looks OK.
I also installed the upper intersection fairing, some tweaking oto be done once the wing is installed.

Then I duplicated all the opérations for the right side. This is a picture showing the use of the small plastic tubing , the trailing edge is not aligned correctly as it is not centered between the strings.

Here the right upper intersection fairing. There is a 1/8" gap between the lower skin and the fairing, I will fill it up later in the installtion process.

As usual, once everything is complete all is disassembled again. I begun giving some parts a better finish and enlarging the lower holes for the wheels. One side is still to be done.
Here The right wheel fairing with the two halves of the lower intersection fairing to be epoxied.
All the final préparation of the parts can now be done in small working sessions.
