Left elevator assembly, this part supporting the trim tab is a bit more complicated that the right one.
Both elevator are balanced via lead weights. The weights have to be trimmed to fit and to do this I had to assemble and disassemble everything a few time, and just before drilling I managed to assemble one of the weights upside down. Now the holes are out of alignment. We'll see tomorrow what to do out of this.

Upper part is OK, lower part is wrong!!!!

This morning, the stiffeners are back riveted to the skins.

Then I built the folding brake as to fold the trailing edges, I tested it with the trim tab.

Next, the right elevator was assembled and drilled.

To end the day I folded the trim tab, but it seems one of the bending lines is not correctly set, I'll see with Van's.

Rivetted the trailing edge using Vans' method. The rivets are double flush, setting them is a bit special. On the picture one can see the half squeezed rivet, when completlety set the tail will fill the dimple and look as a manufactured head.

The trailing edge tough not straight as a ruler is well within the specifications(less than 0,1 inch)

Then the leading edges are rolled using
Hervé's tool. To get the correct shape, some hand massaging was applied.

And here is the rudder assembled with the horizontal stab.
