To finish the instrument panel, I have to install the cables activating the parking brake and the cabin-heat valve.
I begin by the latter. The cable goes along the right side, then down the firewall before reaching the valve.
I install two c-clamps and drill one of the firewall reinforcing angles to allow the passage of the cable. This is a view af the right side.

And this is cable at the valve.

For the parking brake, the routing is along the left side.

And this is how the cable reaches the parking brake valve.

The pitot is installed in the left wing, so I had to route some tubing from the left wing root to the panel. the pictures shows how I opted to to it. First the tubing goes through the main bulkhead towards the left main gear support.

Then it goes under the lower left side longeron along the floor.

Then it goes uo along the left fuel tank vent tubing, beside the transponder antenna wire.

It then comes back to the panel along the upper fuselage longeron.

Before doing the wiring runs going through the center fuselage, I replaced the fuel lines going from the fuel valve to the tanks. I was never satisfied with those lines. I'm now installing braided hoses. The hole through the bulkhead proved somewhat difficult to drill. I still have to tweak the whole installation.

I had to set a few missing rivets at the top of the fuselage frames. These are the first four.

Then some more above the luggage hold.

And those on the canopy brace. I then masked (not so well) the cabin to paint all the apparent parts.
The end result looks quite good, we'll try not to mess up doing the finishing.

There were a few more rivets to set between the supanel and the fuselage. I will redo the paint later.
