I first installed the strobe control box.



Then I installed the autopilot pitch servo. I needed to play with some washers to get enough clearance from the structure for all the parts.
Installing the safety wire was not very easy, I'll see next time if it's not better to redo it.

I decided to install nutplates to bolt on the oil and fuel sensors bracket. It will be easier to unbolt the bracket if needed.
It took quite some time to drill, deburr and dimple the holes.

One hour in the workshop but not much progress. Still working in the aux battery tray. Another worker is willing to build a battery box for me, so I will go this route and see how to rivet it to the floors.

I think that the best way to secure the battery is by building a box that will be screwed to the structure of the plane.
I make a test box with a 0,020 steel sheet. The result looks good but a bit flimsy, I will try to find a thicker sheet.



Here the box is in the fuselage. Final location is to be decided as it has to be accessible for maintenance.



And another location, in another bay under the seats.

The wiring diagram and the panel are not yet finished, but I'm getting to where I want. I will install a small backup battery for the electronic screens as the one I want don'thave one included.
So I have to fabricate a bracket.



The battery will be installed under the right seat.
