I first beagn by fabrication the alternator and starter wire.
Installing of the starter cable was striaght forward as I could use the sump bolts to install two clamps.

Tha alternator side was another story as the space is taken by the propeller governor oil line (unused at the time). I use two clamps together to tie the cable to a solid point.

This is the cable under the right cylinders. It's quite difficult to install the bolt and nut as space is tight and the clamps want only one thing, spring open.

I also lsted all the wires that will be forward of the firewall.
Those having no connection aft of the fire wall :
- from battery (+) to battery relay
- from battery (-) to engine
- from battery (-) to engine to firewall
- from alternator to ANL fuse
- from starter to starter relay
- from firewall to engine (grounding safety)

Those going through the firewall :
- 4 EGT
- 4 CHT
- Alternator field
- Alternator out lamp
- PMAG wires
- Magneto wires
- Oil temperature
- Oil pressure
- Oil pressure (second sensor for alarm light)
- Fuel pressure
- Main bus wire
- Battery bus wire
- Battery switch wire
- Starter switch wire

And maybe the GPS antenna cables.

Before insalling some clamps around some engine accessories, I have to install a few camlocks on the lower cowl to be able to install it later to make some interference checks.
Visually, the result is really pleasing.

After some tweaking, I find a correct postion. I mark all the elements to be able to be make the final installation later.

I then install the overflow tubing of the engine fuel pump. The picture shows the lower part of the tubing where it exits the cowl.

I then put two clamps on the exit tubing of the left muffler. Six hand would be handy to install the two clamps, the bolt, the washer and the nut.
The trick is to use some safety wire (still visible) to maintain the clamps closed

I first redo the safety wire on the fuel pump, the wire is now on the correct side of the bolt.

I then begin to fabricate the big wires needed firewall forward.
These are the relays, with the alternator cable on the lower left, the main bus cable on the lower right and the positive battery cable above the others.
The starter cable is not visible but hooked to the relay on the right.

The is the negative side of the battery with the cable from the battery to the firewall and from the firewall to the engine.
For safety, I will install a second ground cable from the engine to the firewall.

I reinstall the engine fuel pump for the fimal time.
The safety wire is a pain to install, and I will have to redo it as the right hand bolt can unscrew without putting any tension on the wire. Must have been dreaming, or just choose the easiest side.

I will install a pressure switch to illuminate a light in the panel should the oil pressure drop. I will use a small copper tubing between the EIS pressure sensor and the the upper postion in the manifold.
I only have to buy a new pressure switch as the one I have is a normally open switch and I need a normally closed one.
