Today, I'm still working on the mapbox. First I make the cut on the forward deck in the fusleage. Then I cut and rivet four aluminium angles to reinforce the subpanel.

With this done, all the parts can be painted, here one half of the map box.

As all the painting stuff is available, I also do some touch-up work on the canopy frame and paint the rear locking bar the same color.

As I'm preparing the next finish paint session I assemble the subpanel. The left side is assembled on the workbench.

On the right side, I will install a glovebox. A rectangular hole is cut in the subpanel and then the forward deck will also have to be cut along the blue line on the picture.

The reassembly of the cabin parts goes on. I first verified the torque of all the nuts, mainly tise of the main gear supports.
Then I riveted both fresh air sccops.

Next parts to be reinstalled were the fuel vent lines. A third hand could be used for some of the clamps

Then I riveted the top of the bagage bulkhead wondering why I didn't do it earlier.
I also riveted the upper rib to the next bulkhead, which didn't go as planned, I'll have to drill out the rivets and redo them after the upper skin is installed.
