With some difficulties I managed to work two hours making small sessions. I finished wraping the harnesses in the center tunnel. The picture shows how the harnesses route under the stick assembly and are installed so as not to intervere with the controls. Working time on this subpart Today : 2h (Total : 87h) |

Today's goal was to get all the harnesses behind the main bulkhead organised. I first installed the d-sub connector on the autopilot pitch servo. I then installed the ties on the harnesses in the center tunnel. First I did those in the tunnel under the luggage compartment. The picture shows the two bundles that will later get secured to the sides of the tunnel using the small white pads. This is the tunnel between the seats. There was a little more work as the flaps position sensor and the aileron trim servo had to be connected, the harnesses secured and the pads glued to the sides. The lacing method works pretty well, I use two type of knots acccording to the size of the harness and it's access. Once everything is tight, the wires don't move a bit. Working time on this subpart Today : 5h (Total : 85h) |

I needed almost three hours to finish the connections at the strobe pack. There are a few pins and connectors to install, the ths shield have to be grounded (all the grey cables are shielded and the shields are grounded at the top right screw). Then I tried to make a nice harness and route it so it does not interfere with the rudder cable. Working time on this subpart Today : 3h (Total : 80h) |

The wiring goes on but it seems nothing changed since yesterday. There are a lot of small tasks to do : cut the correct length, mark the wire, crimp the terminals, route the wire. All the wires behind the main bulkhead are now installed. I still have to make some connexions and secure all the wires. The picture shows all the wires going through the main bulkhead. Today the working time passed the 1800 hour mark. Working time on this subpart Today : 4h (Total : 77h) |

Still wiring, today I did the wire below the seat pants. I first install the nav light and taxi and landing light wires. They all go to a terminal strip under the left seat. On the left side, this is the main bulkhead passthrough, there is the NAV antenna cable, the landing and taxi light wires and the pitot tubing. I still have to squeeze though eight small wires going to the left stick. The central tunnel is getting crowded too after I ran the wires for the flap motor and flap position sensor. I still have to install the aileron trim servo wires. Working time on this subpart Today : 4h (Total : 73h) |
