The days begins with the deburring and dimpling of the rear fuselage. First the most forward bulkhead, then the junction between aft rear and center fuselage and to finish all the holes where the longeron will be riveted.

The long and tedious deburring and dimpling begins with the center fuselage. Not too many holes, but I had to modify two ribs I had forgotten for wire snap bushings.

The lower end of the seatback is connected to the seatfloor via a piano hinge. Three hinges are in fact installed to allow the seatback to be reclined into three positions.
The installation needs some time for all the measurments and drillings to be done.
Those with good eyes may notice some lines and holes that should not be there below the hinges on the part on the right. It's due to an initial error in taking reference for the first holes. The nice thing is those holes are interfering with nothing, they will make the left side lighter and will be concealed under the seat cushion.

All the parts of the forward fuse having been fabricated its time to take all this apart to deburr, dimple, countersink, sand and prime everything.
After the disassembly, I begun taking of the blue plastic where work has to be done. I also began to deburr the parts that are made of thick aluminium and therefore have to "see" the bench grinder.



During this time, Sabine was deburring the smaller parts.

Today, I fabricated the second seatback, it was finished in less time that the first one.
Then the two seatbacks were disassembled to be prepared for painting.
