I fabricated the bracket for the GPS antennas. It's more like metal work than wiring. Both antennas (EFIS and Garmin GPS) will be installed on a small shelf in fornt of the firewall. After two tries, the end product looks quite good ands seems strong enough. The shelve is clecoed to the firewall, netx task will be to install some nutplates. I fabricated the tubing I was having problems with yesterday. In fact there was a third routing possible. The tubing goes in front of the fuel flow sensor(red cube) and then under the pump bracket on the right side. I also installed the antenna doublers. Before tackling interference problem with one of the fuel pump tubings, I primed and riveted the fuel flow support bracket. I then tried to fabricate a nex tubing (it's the one in the front), but after two tries I had to conceide that it would not work as expected. I put the pump back in the cabin and found out the routing the tubing above the filter might be an option. I will work on that tomorrow. Working time on this subpart Today : 2h (Total : 213h) |
