Two hours work were needed to preassemble one of the seatbacks. There are quite a few parts to assemble, a lot of measuring and drilling to do.
Here is the result with two vertical angles, two horizontal angles, three hinges and the lightening holes in the part in the back.

As I didn't want to do some big works today, I decided to get all the parts needed to fabricate the seat backs. They are only some aluminium sheet getting reinforced by some angle and installed in the cabin with some hinges allowing to move the seats back and forth (three positions) and to recline the seat into two positions. I just got all the parts in the workshop, cut the angles and hinges to length and marked the parts that still have to be cut.

I finished preparing the brake pedals, there was some countersinking to be done. I also drilled the holes for a nutplate on the forward fuselage gussets.

Today, I'm working again on the brake pedals. They now get installed on the rudder pedal tubes and the cylinders get installed to.
The method is decribed on a few websites and needs some careful adjustments before drilling. I still have to countersink some of the parts.
I finished my day by cleaning and reorganizing the workshop because the next thing that needs to be done is get the whole fuselage apart and deburr, dimple and prime all the parts.

Still fabricating the brake pedals. First all the parts have to be deburred and sanded, they are pretty thick aluminium parts with quite a lot of marks from the fabricating process. Then I assembled the four pedals (we will have dual brakes), being careful fabricating left and right pedals.

Then the side bushings are drilled to the auxilliary longeron in the forward fuse. A few holes are drilled to allow for the ruuder and brake pedals to be repositionned on the ground. On the picture you can see my today's blunder. The bushing should be aligned on the third line from the left and not on the other line. This would not be a problem per se, but unfortunately the holes I drilled interferd with some other hole on the longeron rending one of the position unusable. So I fabricated a new longeron.

Then the whole assembly is moved to the fuselage to install the center bushing. Here we see the center support which will be drilled to the firewall.

The support is now finished, on the right the clecos holding the support to the firewall. The support is also lightened by drilling three big holes.
